- The Bolt – Student Newspaper
- I am choosing The Bolt as one of my options for my creature feature story because I think the student newspaper does not get as much recognition as other clubs. In my feature creature story I want to highlight something that usually does not get a lot of attention and since I am apart of The Bolt I will be able to get quotes from some of the writers and editors on there start and experience with Journalism. I want to be able to take my feature creature in a way that other people can understand and relate to other people’s experience and journalism and being able to hear about other stories people can possibly get inspired on what to do to take their next steps in their journalism journey.
- Dorms on campus – talk with students in dorms about their opinions and experience
- Another option I have is talking about the dorms on campus. Many students talk about the dorms and the problems some share or the difference between them. Bringing light to these problems I think would be beneficial to readers to see what really happens in the dorms. Many students complain about or lack there of about there dorm but nobody every really does anything about it, so writing a story about could bring attention to the problem.
